LOCAL SCHOOLS
Toddington Baptist Church has great relationships with both of our local schools, St George’s Lower School and Parkfields Middle School. We are very please to go into the both schools for assemblies and occasional classroom work, as well as working with the other churches in our community in ‘Open the Book’. This is a fantastic monthly initiative helping the Bible to come alive for the children of St George’s Lower School.
In March 2008, we were very please to work with CTTC (Christians Together in Toddington & Chalgrave), in bringing Pop Connection to years 3-6 of the local schools. The Pop Connection helped children engage in contemporary worship, by learning specially written songs, singing them at a special concert and having a recorded copy of their singing to backing tracks - a great way for the church to engage with the community and for the children to have a memorable experience.
